Kosa silk

Kosa silk is a type of silk made from a thread produced by a worm similar to the silk worm. It is primarily produced in central India in the Chhattisgarh region. Kosa silk is known for its comfort and is popular in other countries. Bilaspur, Raigarh, Champa of Chhattisgarh are known for kosa silk and its production by Dewangan community.
